kris peltzer - mulisha small engine repair and sales
I’d like to introduce Kris Peltzer, owner of Mulisha Small Engine Repair and sales in Cranbrook.
Kris is an independent business owner, and has remained open during the Covid pandemic in order to keep our community’s maintenance and recreational equipment running.
How has the Covid-19 situation affected your business or daily operation?
It was slow at first when things ere very uncertain and businesses were shutting down, but thankfully that didn’t last long. Shipping times have lengthened greatly, and getting parts here overnight just isn’t happening right now. The border is closed, and since we get some of our parts and product from the states, that stuff is getting held up at the border now. We’re a small shop and can maintain safe distancing while we’re working, and we have been identified as an essential service for daily outdoor life activities and keeping our lawn/yards maintained so we’ve been able to stay open.
What positive or uplifting things are you seeing happening right now?
Seeing the community join together, supporting the little guys has never been more important!
What things are you doing to create joy or have some fun during this pandemic?
Getting outside as much as possible with family and a few close friends. Going for rides on our dirtbikes and side x sides, and riding my bike to work has helped decrease my stress and kept me happy.
Is there anything specific you’d like to share or wish people knew right now?
We can’t let this virus stop our lives, we have to carry on as best as we can.
