nicole anker - td bank small business
I'd like to introduce Nicole Anker, Account Manager, Small Business at TD Canada Trust.
She's been on the frontline of helping small businesses navigate their way through surviving these crazy times.
How has the current Covid-19 situation affected your daily operations?
I am currently working from home but still available to support small business clients remotely by utilizing technology such as e-signature. Many local businesses have been severely impacted by COVID19 and my primary focus has been assisting them with managing their cashflow and financing needs. Many businesses are adapting their operations so I am also helping clients establish digital banking solutions to minimize handling cash and cheques which reduces the need for face to face transactions.
What positive or uplifting things are you seeing during this time?
The creativity and resiliency of businesses is very uplifting. Many businesses have had to pivot their operations and find new ways of operating in a short period of time. The community spirit in Cranbrook is also always uplifting. It's great to see people rallying around our business community and supporting one another.
What are you doing to find joy right now?
While I am missing the face to face interactions, staying connected with clients and colleagues digitally brings me joy. Outside of work, I have been enjoying the great outdoor recreation that the Kootenays has to offer such as taking my dog for hikes and going golfing.
Is there anything specific you’d like to share, or wish people knew right now?
We know there is a lot of uncertainty right now, we are facing it too. We are in this together and here to help you through the crisis.
