I'd like to introduce Shannon and Megan Fisher, owners of Top Crop Farm & Garden.

How has covid-19 affected your business?

Covid19 has had a major impact on the way we do business. We have been offering curbside pickup and are limiting the number of people in the store and greenhouses. But our customers have been awesome as have our staff and have all totally adapted.

What positive things have you seen happening during this pandemic situation?

Positive out of covid19 .. people of all age groups are growing food! Which is huge!

Are you doing anything in particular to find joy right now?

I go home to peace and quiet at my little farm with my partner and we enjoy our animals and gardens.

Is there anything specific you'd like to share, or wish people knew right now?

Ag Canada has stated they are worried about food shortages because of covid in the year ahead. I think this has been an eye opener that we really need to be more self sufficient as individuals and a country. And we need to be kind and help each other.
